Heh. I finally got around to watching the 1st episode of HBO's "The Game of Thrones" and I must say, I quite enjoyed it. It was a perfect combination of utterly serious and rather kitschy, plus it seemed to me to do a good job of taking the rambliness of the books (which never met a tangent they didn't go off on) and imposing some dramatic unity. I love lists of beauty product "classics" and "must-haves" for some reason. I suppose the appeal is that I'm always looking for THE perfect product that I can just have on order via Amazon's Subscribe & Save and never have to think about shopping for again.
